Kush Tripathi is a highly accomplished and driven individual with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and a passion for business strategy and consulting. Currently, he is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital and is conducting research related to brain imaging in a project funded by NIH. He is developing a new functional neuroimaging technology using ultrasound and EEG with mm temporal and spatial resolution. Kush has a strong background in research and has collaborated with Brigham and Women's Hospital in the focused ultrasound laboratory of the radiology department. He has expertise in conducting neuromodulation experiments, rodent surgery, animal handling, anesthetic delivery, and administration of tail vein catheterization. He has also learned about hydrophone mapping and building a device setup for conducting experiments. Additionally, he has collaborated with researchers trying to open BBB for the delivery of chemotherapy drugs. Apart from his research work, Kush is also the Founder and Administrator of Biomedikal.in, a Biomedical Engineering resource website. The website provides students with study materials, job notifications, research updates, industrial training notifications, final year minor & major projects guidance, and career counseling with regards to a future in Biomedical Engineering in India & overseas. Kush built this website in response to seeing the time spent by himself and others in trying to locate the best resources and updates to help them in their studies and their goal of working in the Biomedical field. Since then, he has built thousands of followers on social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Kush holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He also has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University. With 8.95 years of relevant experience, Kush is a highly skilled and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
